how do you mount the inner grill in 71-72?

I decided to but the grill back in the truck. I took it out to paint it. I did a rattle can job that I wasnt happy with so I never put it back in. Well I decided that it would look better with a poor paint job then no grill at all... Now I cant remember how it mounted..
I have new plastic clips and all new screws .. I just cant make it fit right...
A picture is worth a thousdand words ....
HELP!

This is my best recollection of how I did it to BB. the plastic pieces snap into the square holes on the inner grill , then screw goes through the hole in the outer grill into the plastic, there are a couple of screws that go into the support behind the inner grill near the center ,
Good luck .

Thumbs up

Bill, that is one sweet looking '72! When I see trucks like yours, it makes me want to get out and work a little harder. What color is that?

That was a new aftermarket inner grill that was primed and painted same mix as the body .( The paint job is only about 5 month old so don't know how well it will hold up )
