Where are all the 1962 Pickups??
QUESTION IS... Where are all the 1962 Pickups at? My wife was born in '62 and is looking for a SWB Fleet or step side to restore. Have they all gone to the chrusher... or were there not as many 62's made than the other years??? Anyone know? rico_bob

Good Question
I am not sure if they made less 62's, but they are a lot harder to come by than the later models. I have a 63 and was actually thinking of using a 62 grill because I like the look of it better. You can check on ebay, they go on there every so often. What kind of shape are you looking for. How much work are you planning to put into the vehicle?

There's a bunch of '62s running around in town, and I see few more while driving around in other surrounding towns. I see WAY more 1960,61,63-66's more than the '62s though.

My favorite year is the 63, but I am a bit biased.
