95 GMC Sierra C1500 2wd problems with reverse
It's a 302 with the automatic tranny.
when we put the truck in reverse it shudders real bad.. Been doing it for a long time.. I jacked up the truck so the rear axle was off the ground and it didn't do it. Only when it's on the ground and under load.. Now my mom who drives it says that reverse is going out and will just rev and not go backwards.. I went out and tried it earlier and it went backwards but it shudders a lot worse then it did.. Think it's time for a tranny rebuild? think the shudder is from the tranny?

I have aways heard that reverse is the first to go when the transmission is going out.
