Question code questions

I'm new to Chevy trucks, so here's some stupid questions. Where would the Model, Motor, Rear-end Identification for a
1968 Chevrolet Pickup be found? Also, is there a color code?

No such thing as a stupid question.
All this is found in your VIN, and model number, with the exception of the rear and paint. The paint code can be found in your glove box, along with the vin and model #.
