First timer...Need advice...
could someone give some advice on a purchase I made,I just purchased a '70 GMC stepside,the truck is actually really clean just a few missing parts.The help I need is just above the windshield is rotten,is this a normal spot for rot,or did I waste my money....Any help would be appreciated...Thanks

There is a replacement panel for that area.

Geez, a new guy comes on asking for advice, and what do we do? Bother him for pictures right away. What are we, a bunch of truck voyeurs? But since he hasn't posted any yet, guess I'll have to cruise through the messages clicking on any link that might, just might have a picture in it..

rusty above windshied = common problem......i think gmc paul sells a patch panel that will take care of the prob for you....
