Throttle

My throttle has been sticking (85 k5 blazer) a lot lately. I sprayed it WD40 but this only helps for a little while and then the problem comes back. Is there anything else I can do?

Check for a throttle return spring or some mechanical obstruction. If you don't find anything check the condition of the cable. They will eventually wear out and make for stiff throttle action. They are a dealer item I think in the range of $20-$30. I had to replace the cable in my 84 after an engine swap a while back. Made all the difference in the world.

The cable looks fine, I will try some choke lube first and see what happens.
