Are burb frt seats same as Blazer frt seats?
Hello everyone, can anyone tell me if the front bucket seats from a 71 suburban are the same as the front bucket seats in a 71 Blazer? Will the seat tracks be the same? And, did the passenger bucket seat in a suburban tilt up like they do in the Blazers?
Thanks one and all for any input, one of our board members has seats for sale but I need to know for sure they will work for my Blazer/Jimmy.

oh yeah, they are the same, but worth a lot more, they are more comfortable, more durable, and better looking. they will make that blazer ride like a caddy!
of course, my opinion is slightly biased because i'm the guy selling them.... lol- tom |

69-72 Burbs, Trucks & Blazers all used the same bucket seats. The difference is
Burbs & Blazers used the plastic seat backs to cover the back of the seat. Truck seat backs were left open. "No one was seting behind you to see it." Burbs & Trucks used the same seat mounting brackets. "No need to tilt the seat up to get in like in Blazer's" just open the 3rd door and get in. Also it seems that some Blazer's came with the Panel Truck type utillity bucket seats that used metal seat backs . |
