Crew cab in CT magazine
Hi Everyone,
Just got my new december issue of Classic Truck Magazine, and on the front cover is the '67 crew cab towinf the "Sub Low" suburban. It's a 70 C20 crewcab that had been reworked with a '67 front slip. I wish they had info, and more pics of the suburban besides 1 pic. David

THe sub was featured a few year's ago in classic truck's I think .. I know it was on the cover of one of the big mag's... Sure wish that classic truck's would do bigger write-up's on there feature truck's.... That set-up is killer though...

Here's a few pic's for you.. I do have a question about the knob on the dash below the radio,what would that be for??? Also are those defrost hole's in the front of the dash pad???

Knob looks like it could b for rear air- if they took the front off of a sub to make the extended cab truck????

That is the best crew cab job that I've ever seen. I really like that paint scheme with the white '68 grill.

Present: 2015 Tacoma. Yeah, not a GM, but I love it. 1969 GMC 32,000 - fix, drive, relax, fix... 2019 BMW R1250 GSA - Yahoooooooo 1979 Honda GL 1000 - retro touring at its best. Past: '05 Sierra 4x4 - Had 270,000 KM and running well when it was written-off by a stop sign runner. '94 F-150 from the "F word" company. I'll admit it...good truck. Sold what was left of it for $800 to a guy who came to pick it up at 11:00 PM with cash in hand. Hmm. '79 Sierra Grande (Black) organ donor - perfect rebuildable 4-bolt 350 and a good TH350. '76 Sierra Grande (Orange) - hate isn't too strong a word. Kid who bought it turned it into a hot rod. '68 C-10 R.I.P. - Dad's old truck...too far gone to resurrect. '59 C-50 - with hoist. Truck is gone, wife isn't. Nuff said. |

Dash holes might be for a speaker.

That truck was built by Mike Fillion. It was an old crewcab that originally had the 4 front doors with the wedge shaped filler in between. He took 3 doors to make one on each side.
The holes in the dash are for the center channel speaker..... |

I love that truck it just needs to be a foot or solower for my taste.LOL The job he did on the crewcab is awesome best i have seen by far looks like it came from factory that way. Also Sublow is still lookin so bada$$ i love that sucka it is what keeps me motivated on mine.......

That looks like Cali to me. There aren't any palm trees or cliffs like that in CT. Also those trucks don't have rust on them. Definately not from CT. Sorry, I guess i'm being overly analytical. Sweet trucks though. :p
