Still wanted- Dually or dually parts

I'm still looking for a 67-72 dually or at least some suspension parts off of one. If I can't find a whole truck, I will build one from scratch, but I need the heavy duty brakes and suspension at least.

I'm in North Texas, but I have a good truck and trailer and I would travel a good ways for the right truck.

Too bad you weren't closer. I know a guy giving away a dually chassis 70 or 71.
Isn't that aways the way??

I'm only going to use the cab and front clip; frame(133" wheelbase), tranny, rearend, front suspension, tires no motor (originally had a 350) yours for $350. Was a wrecker, I have two stepside beds for it(8' and 9') rough shape, if you want them with the chassis.

Tx,
I bought a 72 C/30 Dually for the drive train and cab. The glove box reads 157" wheel base.
I will be selling the rollong chassis, but I still have everything on it that I need. Havent had time to strip it yet. Comes with steel fuel tank mounted to chassis. Original 60K mile truck. Front suspension even has good rotors and swaybar. Looking for $1,000.
I can email pics of specifics if you want...
I looked it up, you are about 1300 miles away ..

Thanks guys. but I don't think there is any way I could go that far. Even at 18 miles per gallon loaded, It would be a big endeavor.

I'm sure hoping to turn one up with a day's drive of me.

I will save the pictures though in case I can't turn anything up closer.

I appreciate your responses.

If Hutchinson KS isn't to far there was one in town. 67 or 68 flat bed stake rack. I haven't got out and looked at it. I'll be in town tomorrow and could see if it is still there.

dually parts

I might have what you want after this weekend if I make a deal with Matt for the 1 ton. It will end up in Breckenridge about 60 miles from you. It is in weatherford now.

Hey,

There is a junkyard that has one of these. I know he said i could have the whole thing for $250. I wanted the doors and the motor. I can go get some pics today or tomorrow, and more info. I am 100 miles north of OK City.

Tx.
I made it home and here are some pictures as promised. The pictures are crap I need to practice a little more on my photos. Anyway, the truck (75 GMC 1 ton) has the entire disc brake front end, no steering box or sway bar but otherwise complete. The 2 wheels on the front are split rims but will allow you to load the thing, and I have a few more of them laying around. The rear end is missing 1 axle (14 bolt) and the brakes and drums are laying in the cab.The price is right so PM me if you think you would be interested. It is about a 5 hour drive from Dallas.
