My truck is used for work, also. With my 454 and with gas prices the way they are, I'm thinking on getting something smaller, and turning my truck into a weekend cruiser.

All of mine work (least when they are moving). If they get scratched, I'll fix it.

You could say my truck is a work truck. I bought my 82 4x 1/2 ton to haul "me" to and from work in the winters but since I repaired the A/C I now use it all year long.
The truck I had when I built my garage was a 1-ton 2wd flatbed that I put a Low Pro Dump Hoist Dump Kit on. It was nice to just push the toggle switch to empty the bed. I would like to buy the smaller dump kit they make for the pick-up beds for this truck. I hate shoveling things out of the bed.

I use mine to get TO work. But not for my job. I'm a drafter, so that really can't work. I do use my truck, however, when I need to haul something bigger than me.

My truck is used for anything and everything that I need to move push or pull. I haven't done any damage to it less the box sides, but they were toast from the start anyways...
Infact, when I found my 74 parts truck, I actually scratched the phone number of the guy into my bed rail because I didn't have a pen or paper with me :P

I just used ol' stepper to pick up my new big ass sandblasting cabinet, I was really carefull not to dent or scratch the bed, I used a lot of blankets, rubber mats and what not more to protect my bed but I made it home without any damage
