Over windshield sheetmetal

Does anybody have work in proress pictures of replacing the sheetmetal over the windshield? If you do, I would sure like to take a look at what you did, and what I'm about to get into. Thanks.

No, sorry I wasn't very clear on that. I was referring to the area above the windshield on the "inside" of the cab. Mine has rusted through in several areas and I've got to replace it. I was hoping somebody had already done this and had taken a series of pics showing how they did it. Thanks for your help though 67.

Gee Emm, how did you cut it out of the corners, and what did you use to cut it out with? That's whats got me really stumped right now. If I could figure out how to get it out without tearing *ell out of my cab, it would make it easier for me to put the new piece in.

It is all spot welded in place. Just drill out the spot welds and cut a line where ever with a cutting wheel. It shouldnt be all that hard of a job I guess, the hardest part would be welding the cut line and getting the two pieces of metal to line up nicely.

Thanks for the pics folks. I'm beginning to see what I'm up against. As soon as I can get the cab mounting bolts cut off, I'm planning to remove the cab and put it on some saw horses or something so that I can work on it a little easier. I'm going to be trying to find a cutting torch and a cutting wheel of some sort this weekend to start getting some work done. I'll post pics as I progress so you can tell me where I'm screwing up.
