Problem solved

I was really getting down in the dumps about my truck not running right and quitting at lights/stopsigns/just slowing down. Me, my dad and my shop teacher were going through everything and nothing was popping out at all. Then today I remember that the day before it went to **** I put gas in it. From Shell. ANd I'd never got it there before. So today after work I put a full tank of BP in it and the sucker fired right up and purred (well, more like a growl, but I digress) Looks like that stupid Shell gas was the problem, but I'm gonna check the powervalve anyway. I did get new main jets for my Holley though, which I was gonna need anyway. I feels good to have my truck back to normal.

You can get bad gas from any station of any brand. I've gotten bad chevron, Citgo, and BP. I've seen Texaco trucks filling shell station tanks and citgo trucks filling Phillips 66 tanks. The who brand thing is pretty much a racket. The station buy what's available sometimes. I've gotten more crappy gas from chevron stations than any other brand.
