help finding p/w switch bezels
I just picked up an 83' gmc. It needs a driver side power window switch bezel. Someone already had it glued on,,, the switch now wants to fall down the door panel. I have looked at a couple of places (not all) without any luck. They sell just the switch without a bezel. Does the dealer offer these??? or anyone elseknow where i can get these???

Not so sure what you mean by a switch bezel?
Can you get a picture? If all you need is a switch, I may possibly be able to find a couple at the local wrecking yard

No pics,,, it's the chrome plated square plastic piece that holds the switch to the door panel. The tabs are broken on mine

try your local auto parts store... (auto zone, oreillys, checker...etc)... most will have what is called a "HELP" section, where they have the switch bezels, door strikers, headlight adjustment screws....mostly small misc stuff that usually breaks.

Unfortunately, Autozone and O'reillys doesn't carry just the bezel for the switch. They both have the complete switch assembly, want to say it goes for $20 or $25. Haven't seen just the bezel piece anywhere.

I am pretty sure you can only get the switch as one piece. If you take off the bezel, the switch can fall apart.

The dealer wanted $25.00 just for the bezel.
