Better sport mirrors??
I have a 69 SWB that gets driven daily by my wife. It has the original round mirrors. The wife has been complaining about the poor rear visibilty and I have to agree that they do suck. I also have some trucks with the 1972 chrome sport mirrors. They are better but still not good enough. I would like something a little bigger while maintaining a nice custome look. Any pictures or ideas? The attached picture shows my original mirrors.

You can change the mirror and add a bigger rect. mirror. I think it comes out to be 5x7 I used one on the same bracket you have on my 71 Blazer.

Mount some big 3 point trailer towing mirrors..you will see in panoramic with those things...j/k. I have 5x7 chrome mirrors on the original mirror arms and I see fine, at least when they aren't shaking from the vibration of the truck
They are available through resto vendors.

Ya, thats a problem when you put a bigger mirror on the stock arm... vibration. That would lead to another complant from the war dept.

Put a fish eye miror on the pasenger side. You can see everything then.Plus its the same size as the regular round ones. You can get one at any truck stop
