Re: 63-87 rack and pinion
Rob hasn't been on since October, I would call no limit, they are super friendly and helpful over the phone!

Re: 63-87 rack and pinion
Some of the other kits I’ve seen say they may not or will not work with 5.3 truck low mount power steering pumps. Does anyone know if this kit will work with low mount ps pump on 02 5.3 truck LS?

I had built my own mounts so mine is sitting different than most others out there. Long story but yes it will work but some checks will need to be made. Dave

Re: 63-87 rack and pinion
Look through the pictures of "Sunburn" in my signature. I used exactly what you are asking and my set up worked great. Look at posts 258, 259 and another on post 445. I will say this: I built custom engine mounts that moved the engine lower and BACK toward the firewall, but everything cleared and did not have an issue with interference between the engine accessories and the rack or crossmember.

Re: 63-87 rack and pinion
Ordered this kit for my 72 C10. The kit has increased in price over the years, as most things have.
I still think it is a great value. There are other kits out there now, but most cost more, some are twice as expensive, with long wait times for delivery. It looks like an easy straightforward install. The rack and pinion kit should arrive before next weekend. Thanks Rob for all your support and contributions to our community over the years!
