Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window
SCORED!!
1972 Blazer Seat backs - Brand New - $40 1967 Core Support -Brand New - $190 CPP C-notches - Brand New - $40 Powdercoated and installed the C-notches this weekend, also got the air bags on the front finalized. But with all the good things that happened there had to be some bad. I was pulling my bed and it hit my cab......chipped my paint on the lower cab corner. Hopefully it will hide with a little touchup, and no I didn't get a pic of it.....I was too pi$$ed to even look at it. I will get some pics up tonight!

Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window
Wow, sorry to hear about the cab corner, but like you said, that's one of the least seen parts of the truck with the bed installed so a quick patch job should hide it.
Great score on those parts!!!

Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window
It's painful after all that work to see a huge chip in the paint, but can't let it stop progress! Here is some pics of the c-notch install, didn't get a pic of them powdercoated and installed with bags, but I will tomorrow. It was a PITA getting everything to align....especially the bags. The frame is in need of cleaning....again.

Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window
Cool...looking forward to more pictures. Did you do any mods to the trailing arm? Have you put the bed on since the bags to compare the rims to the wheel wells or did you just center the notch where the rear hit the frame?

Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window
No mods to the trailing arms, and I have had the bags on for at least 8 months so all of the pics with the bed on, the bags were already installed. The back rims seem to line up great with the wheel well center (see the pics on page 10). After everything was installed (the c's and the bags) nothing changed....only the ride height by about 2 inches. I am really hoping that the weight of the front clip and motor and all the other stuff that goes with that will pancake the bags and the front will be about 1 1/2 to 2 inches lower also. If this is the case the truck will sit with the same stance as previous pics, just 2 inches lower.

Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window
Do doubt! My date for first crank was August! After all is said and done I will be happier with the final product since I did take my time. Plus the carshow season is over for this year. So next year will be a blast.

Little hotter than an RV cam, it's a 470 lift with a little longer duration than stock.

Re: 1967 C10 Custom Big Window
Got my brake hose connected to the rearend. Got bumpstops mounted on the c-notches, installed the interior door opening stuff, windsheild wiper assembly, and some 1/4 spacers on rearend to get those 22X10s out a little more.
