Either a dark grey center,... or a totally satin wheel. (lip included!)

Im leaning pretty heavily on a gray center wheel, or satin finish as you and SCOTI suggested

Thats a cool wheel, Im kinda leaning towards the Billet Specialties Bonneville with the gray center. If I can afford them ,they're stupid expensive Ill decide in a week or two.

On the Rushforth Saltshaker - I priced those out last July '12 so it may have changed by now, but just to give you an idea of what Jason advised me:

- Salt Shakers start at $870 each in full polish because they require a
lot more machine time than most of our other designs and each custom
finish adds $75 each.

Love the build

Dont know your price range, but here is another Brand other option to consider

Built by Forgeline and Designed by Ben Hermance

Some good looking styles in there with the right finishes done to them

And the Bonneville-G's are $900-$1000 each from Billet Specialties (in 20's).
But they both look really good!

Re: Locomotive Lugnut

ouch on all of those options
my steel wheels cost me $78 each and i freaked on those prices
using billet wheels would have doubled the cost of my build
well minus the motor

Re: Locomotive Lugnut

The Bonneville-g's are awesome looking wheels but are expensive. Another really nice wheel is the Intro Vintage with a satin or grey center. They look similar to the Bonneville-G but at a much better price.

Dang, thanks for all the info guys I never even heard of some of the wheel brands some of you guys are throwing out. I want to run the Bonnevilles but I priced them the other day and wow are they high. Gonna check into those intros Bennett mentioned.
, gonna get a price on some Delmo specials also.

Delmos would be cool.... color matched (matte) or would you run an 'off' color?

Re: Locomotive Lugnut

Based on some of these wheel prices chrome steelies and wide whitewalls are starting to look better and better.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

They are almost the same price as nice billet wheels. I think anyways.
