I don't remember who gave me the idea of removing the broken bolt in the pinion shaft. But thanks it worked and now I am in business again. I was a little skeptical at first. But I mean to tell you it worked and thanks again.
I did not have a seal pick so I used this small pick which looks like a small ice pick. again thanks.

Toay, I got a lot done. First, I wire wheeled the rear end. Tried to sand blast but the thing would not work right. So I primed the thing and painted it black.

Next, I removed the rear end from the 1967 frame. The more I looked at the yellow springs the more I disliked them. So I painted them gloss black also today.

I pulled the backing plates from the 1972 rear end ad cleaned them up. I also painted them with heat resisting rust-oleum black.

Next, I used a die grinder and made a x on the ribbits on the rear cross member on the 67 frame. I removed the cross member and installed the one I took off the 1972 frame. Now I can install my brake lines and it will have a good support and the rounting is going to look great. I like the way the 72 brake line are rounted. Thanks BOMP for that idea.

Today, I got a couple thing finished. One, the rear end off the 1972 frame was mounted on the 1967 frame. Second, I mounted the backing plates back on the 1972 rear end after I blasted and painted them. Third, I wire wheeled the front cross member and sand blasted it and primed and painted the cross member. I am going to start and dismantle the front end tomorrow. I am going to take my time and finish it this week I hope.

The 1967/1968 frame is getting real dusty setting out under the canophy I think I will buy the sides for the canophy that way I can get ready for paint after the holidays.

I also will order the outside seals and outer and inter bearings on the rear end and the front yoke seal. The yoke seal is not leaking but I have to change the yoke anyway. It is a little larger and my u clamps are to short. I have the yoke and I might as well change it.

Today, I installed the front cross member and the upper a frames. There is a slight difference between th 67 and 72 frame bolt pattern. About 1/32 of a inch for the bolts that screw thru the frame to the welded bnuts on the cross member. But it in in now. I also got the upper and lower ball joints off without a hitch. I am going to call tomorrow and see If I can return them for 72 ball joints if not it is not the end world. That brings a note. I fixed my sand blaster and now it works like it suppose to. I changed the tip to use fine sand. Some fix right. I have a few items that need sand blasted. But tomorrow is another day.

Today, I had a very good day. I sand blasted and primed and painted.
First i took apart the rotor and backing plate and spendle both of them.
Then I sand blasted them and primed and painted them except the rotor.
I need to send it out to be turned. The rotors and drums for the rear.
Then I sand blasted the hinges. Found one was a little bent so I am going to get another.
Then, I primed and painted the one hinge.
Sand blasted the brake petal assemble and prime and painted it black.
I painted those yellow springs on the front that i did not like, the color Black.
I wire wheeled the rear E-brake cables. They turned out real nice and painted them black.
