Long sory short, I was traveling west. She was pulling out of a parkinglot wanting to turn east (left). She was watching traffic in the east bound lane trying to shoot the gap and never looked my way. Her head was still turned when she made contact.

Good luck with the adjuster......As long as the frame is good it should be an easy fix.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Got my front park lights/turn signals working on the 72 this morning. I know, not a big deal, but it will save me some hassles with the local cops! Joseph

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Sorry about the blazer...you need a train horn...that's what I have.

As for me, my 72 stepper is now on air...I am loving it. Lays frame...now, time to get it painted, interior then wheels and tires.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Sanded my bed with #400. Found and filled a few more small low spots/flaws. I will finish sanding and then spray the final coat of primer this weekend...maybe tomorrow. Then one more round of block sanding, spray some sealer and on with the color...I think by next weekend! I'm so syked!

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Bought my truck a sport bumper in pretty good shape (couple small scratches and needs cleaned real good) and dakota door seals for $70 at the local pick-n-pull.

to the forum from North Texas.

I had the same problem. I used a good penetrant like liquid wrench and locked on a pair of vice-grips to the nut/clip part and undo the bolt. I also found out that I broke quite a few of the "J clips" during the process. You might consider purchasing some new ones for re-assembly.

Good luck!

Keith

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

I installed a new rear wiring harness. The PO did some funky stuff with the wiring and it was a mess. As soon as I get some back up light cups I should be in business. Also need a license plate lamp.

Did some custom body to add tire clearance, lol. At least I can turn both right AND left now. I guess that's progress.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Went backwards on the 70.

I needed a solid engine to replace my oil burner in the Hoopty and since I already stole the tranny out fo the 70 fir the 83, I decided rather than buy another new crate that I would steal this one to go into the 83. So today the 70 was stripped of its drive train.

Oh I forgot (at least by yourself) small blocks don't come out with long tube headers still hooked up. Other than that the ole crate is in the stand waiting for the day to do the swap into the 83.

Also installed a new stereo head unit into my 2002. One of the filters was going bad in the tuner section, so I swapped in a fresh unit. The Pioneer can do all the cool tuff too; MP3 CDs & Flash Drive MP3s plus blue toothie & Ipodee (don't care) stuff.
