Re: My 1952 truck.
Does look nice with that polished master.... did you make your own pedal assembly too for underdash? looks like a simple setup!!!
Ive got the same booster, but am going on the frame with it.

Re: My 1952 truck.
Well that is long enough of a break! I have been putzing on the truck here and there in the last year. Couple of days ago I decided to get cracking on it. Took it right down to the frame and sent it out for sandblasting. Then I will box the frame and get it painted.

Moved front stake pocket forward. I'm thinking I might move it even further forward.

Re: My 1952 truck.
Cut out the standard Chevrolet script and put in this old corvette style script. It is cut from 316 stainless so after its painted I will buff the paint off the letters before it gets cleared.

Re: My 1952 truck.
So yesterday I welded up all the holes in my firewall. Today I decided to cut out this little bump because I think it will look better.

Re: My 1952 truck.
So then I decided to hang my inner fenders and reshape the rears to match up with the firewall. I thought it looked pretty sad before and did not like it.

Re: My 1952 truck.
I almost got this side done today, but the tank ran dry. Going to hobble into the house and see if wifeypoo will feed me and listen to me complain about my sore back.

Re: My 1952 truck.
Oh, and I found my fender support rods! I don't think they will work with my engine though will make custom ones.

I like the filler piece you added to the inner fender looks killer. Do you have a plan to handle water between inner fender and cowl? Keep on keepin on Nut Case

Re: My 1952 truck.
luv the attention to detail. Did you make the steering column support cover on the firewall? (I'm sure you did) I think I'm gonna take a stab at something like that. Really diggin it.
