Since your frame is a leaf, don't get talked into notching it... that will really weaken the leaf frame...
You can get her pretty low without doing a C-notch.

cb... I hear you and speaking as an old-f@rt, dad, and Grandad, they are all that really matters, but in the balance of things you will get there and these shouldn't be hard or expensive to fab even if nobody is making them.

Tube diameter, saddle width, and so on... could be cut out on the cheap and the results would be dramatic.

I'm also a fan of CaptFab's stuff.

keep us posted and hug the family.

Beautiful truck!! I have a 63 LB and am looking to buy a 4/6 drop and disc brake conversion from Early Classic as well. I was wondering how you liked your kit for them and how the install went? Thanks for any info.

Hey I found this link finally
http://www.performanceonline.com/che...springs-parts/
They have mono leaf springs and drop shakles for your leaf truck.
Hope it helps

Sunday I got the front drop done - it's on the ground finally and it's SOOO nice to have a rolling truck again.

62 C10 - 2 1/2" Bell drop spindles and 3" drop coils on a 78 burb clip.

Steering section is next - Then front sway bar.

Have a look in the 60-66 FAQ section, you will find all kinds of threads there that will help. Spend some time looking at different options to achieve what you are looking for, many ways to skin the cat. Pretty sure that for the front you will need to go with 2" springs, and 2" or 2-1/2" drop spindles. The rear, 2" springs and 2" blocks would do the trick to.
P.S. When you have questions, you will get plently of help and different kinds of advice, but you should post your question in the right place. This is a "picture thread" so some may get a little cranky to see questions, and requests for advice here.
Welcome to the forum, feel free to PM me if you like, I would be happy to help you learn your way around here.

lugnutking.com or you can get them on ebay, you have to widen the center hole on your wheels to get them to slip through and fit over the wheel hubs..

Just asking, when you cut the rear coil what holds the spring in place? When I got my truck the PO cut the rears and it bounced all over the place and the coils didn't have a pocket or clip to hold them

Re: How about some pics of Static dropped 60-66

Is that 5.5 inches in the front or 2.5 in the front and 3 in the rear? If it is 5.5 in the front that is really low have fun with speed bumps.
