Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Today, I finally took the advice of a friend and removed the dealer (or factory) overload springs. Everytime I would go over a speed bump, the back end would bounce two or three times off the ground...but thats what a tree leaf overload will do! Nice and smoooooth now!

You guys are getting some snow in Ks. I see. We have a place about an hour from Wichita. I love it over there.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Actually haven't done much other than stare at it in the Garage, I don't take it out in the snow I like keeping it on a no salt diet.
So I have just been doing some looking around for some new shoes for the truck, hope to get some before the spring.
What do you guys think about these. Any one seen these on our trucks before.

Glider 6969, nice rims, what are they priced like, simular to the MT Classic Lock rims but black edge. Today I actually used my truck to go get a haircut, man was that a nice cruise, don't use it enough.

Installed the 94 amp alt from an 86 silverado. Internally regulated, 3 wire set up. Fixed the amp gauge too.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

I installed the sound deadening insulation and started restoring the heater equiptment. I had several heaters and vent boxes to choose from so I could take the best parts of many. I sandblasted parts and applied rustmort over night. Paint it all tomorrow.
