Thanks...
The shotgun & lever action are when I feel a little bit Kuntry... The semi - autos are for when I feel a little bit Rock & Roll...

Thank you...
I was unsure of how the color combo would turn out... I'm becoming pleased with it as I put it all back together...

Re: The misadventures of Captain Krylon - 68 C-10 barn find
First mid-range cruise today,
since the second rebuild... Went well I do believe... Water 165 @ 70 MPH Oil pressure 30 psi at 2000 RPM Volts steady13.6 700R4 Trans temp 180 @ 70 MPH RPM 2000 @ 70 MPH w/OD off RPM 1700 @ 70 MPH w/OD on Slight surge @ idle = float bowl adjustment A lot of little stuff to do yet... However... I feel confident enough to take my girls for an extended cruise now...

You know what would look crazy good on this truck, IROC Z aluminum wheels painted orange with black accents, it's too bad the bolt pattern is wrong.

Re: The misadventures of Captain Krylon - 68 C-10 barn find
Just read the whole thread (one good way to waste an hour an a half lol). Great job on the truck. I know what it is like trying to get body men to do body work and paint on a truck. I am good friends of TWO body shops and none of them want to do anything. They just complain. Either way rock on and do some burnouts!!!

Re: The misadventures of Captain Krylon - 68 C-10 barn find
Just finished reading through the whole thing. Love the look you're going for. Hope to see more. I'm going for a muscle/show truck with mine, but want something I can drive too. Have you considered painting the Rally's black to go with the theme?

Re: The misadventures of Captain Krylon - 68 C-10 barn find
Well, it's been a while since I was on here and posted an update...
Let's just say I've been busy enjoying all the fruits of my labor... I'm a little excited about it being the first year to be able to go out to shows and cruises instead of building The Beater... Here you go with the latest info brought to you in pictures... I got around to getting the rims satin black as I had planned all along... Replaced the center caps with some spider caps... White walls will go on when I wear these tires out... Installed some Euro spec Hellas with relays... Took her to my boy Steven @ Blue Rooster Customs for a few tats... Had the Gretsch done too... Now I'm out cruising it around and having fun... Till the next time, enjoy your ride everyday if you can...
