I spent the day lining up the panels and gaps. Looks like some work is needed on the body lines. The top body line just below the window is set. The concave line just above the door handle is too high and the lower body line is too high on the door.

The 68 body came from way the heck up in Michigan. Was that you?

One thing I discovered too late on mine was the window frame wasn't attached to the door properly at the factory. I thought I had things aligned pretty good but after painting I discovered the window frame hitting the A-pillar when opening the door. Basically I can set a nice gap around the window frame or I can have the body lines match up but not both.

Someday down the road if I have to repaint the Burban I will cut the window frame loose and weld it in the correct position.

Good luck with the alignment it can be frustrating.

Actually it was a friend I went to school with I went with him when he bought it and got it running after we brought it home..
