Re: My 1952 truck.
Thanks guys. I will look into it. Today I cut out that ugly ledge in the drivers side frame that I will not be using anymore.

Re: My 1952 truck.
Max the Inspector Goldendoodle, came down to the shop for a surprise inspection. He was catching sparks but figured out some of them were hot. So I also cut out this bump. Then I built a new transmission crossmember.

Going to take the weekend off of the frame. Maybe do some thinking (usually means more work).😊

The frame looks great, moving right along. Your welds look like you have done it before. Max is great, my labradoodle Tucker is 7 and the smartest dog I have ever had. He hangs in the shop until I use the cutting disk/grinder, then hes out the door.. Good luck on your back Keep on keepin on Nut Case

Re: My 1952 truck.
dang you aint playing around on that frame. not many of use would take the time to do that! I have a goldendoodle she is 1 and you'd think she has balls that need snipped. She is wild as ever. Takes stuff off my work table and chews it. She's destroyed many things.

Re: My 1952 truck.
I really need to get some shocks soon and need some advice or suggestions. I want a nice riding shock that I can also set the ride height with. I have no idea what these trucks weigh front and back. An air adjustable shock would be ok as I want a static suspension. She is going to be fairly low and staying that way. Maybe just a good adjustable coil over?

Re: My 1952 truck.
I have a lot of work to do! I have to finish up the rear of the frame, cut off my fuel filler as I have changed my mind on it, and start brake and fuel hard lines. In the near future I need to remove my running board brackets and clean up the frame, then reinstall the brackets properly. (They were just tacked on at mock up of the truck).

I luv a rolling chassis shot. looks great. I agree on the RB brackets. I always bolt mine on with s10 builds. I always hit my shins off them!

Re: My 1952 truck.
Well I managed to get the fuel system fabbed up and also all the brake lines. Put my Lokar filler tube on along with the kickdown cable. Also put in my starter. Went to the swap meet here on Saturday and came home with a transmission pan, and some rear coilovers.

Re: My 1952 truck.
Geez Louise, this power steering pump has been giving me fits. When you mount your body lower on the frame you always pay for it somewhere. I think this combination will work. Waiting on my pulley to show up before I know for sure.

Re: My 1952 truck.
Truck is put together again for the most part so I can finalize things before she starts getting some paint. I have the rear sitting where I want it but the front needs to come down two inches.

Re: My 1952 truck.
There is no interior, hood, grill or bumper yet. I'm thinking that will add close to three hundred pounds. I think one more inch yet. I want the rear of the front fender a pop can high.
