I'm happy with that. Once all the parts are on the truck she will be perfect.

That baby is going to stand on her tail and shake!!!!!

Great work. There is a Pepsi can on the concrete by the passenger front fender, got me thinking what is the distance between the concrete floor and the bottom of the passenger side front fender?

Keep on keepin on

Looks pretty cool without the running boards though - it really emphasizes those fat ole fenders.

Great build

Working on running boards. Got them cleaned up and straight. Spent a long time with the shrinking disc today. Ran hoses for hydro boost through fender.

Re: My 1952 truck.

I'm getting sick of welding. Looking forward to body filler. Am I losing my mind?

Re: My 1952 truck.

I need some advice. See that hose on the tank there? I'm thinking of drilling a 1.25" hole straight through there and into the stake pocket. I'm thinking of using one of those small pop up gas fillers. It will sit flush on top of the box rail. I'm wondering if this is possible. Opinions?

Re: My 1952 truck.

Its going to be a great looking truck. Wheels and stance are awesome. I hear you on the welding. You have done a ton of welding on it. I thought I did a lot, but not nearly as much as you. How many spools have you used so far?

Re: My 1952 truck.

I used two spools and three tanks of gas this month. Plus one grinder and about 20 flappers.

Just my 2 cents, I like the idea, maybe if you went with 1 1/2 stainless tube with some gas resistant rubber L's might get er done. That hose in the photo is vent size,

Lots of welding I agree... Running boards and mounts are killer.

Keep on keepin on

Re: My 1952 truck.

Running boards turned out good! The pop up filler would be sweet but ya if your using that hose to fill it would be very very slow. Did you get your sled turbo yet?

That is one of my AC lines. It was laying around so I used it for a pointer. I would use rubber hose inside the pocket to hook up with 1.25"
hard tubing to the tank.
Mounting the running boards is the second hardest thing on these trucks I swear.
Turbo kit is still not here. The snow in the mountains is deep already.

Re: My 1952 truck.

Oh i c. Sucks the turbo is not in. You will also need a 3/8" hose for a vent up higher than the end of the gas nozzle or the gas station pump will keep clicking off. I really like the idea tho.

Re: My 1952 truck.

Got in my new replacement a arms and PS pulley. No work today as I had to get steel dug out of my eye...again. Good news for me my turbo kit is shipping next week. Hopefully it gets here before I go to Ecuador next month.

Hate to hear about the metal in your eye. I've had it and it drove me crazy.

Re: My 1952 truck.

Been busy on the truck. Making sure gaps on bed are ok, got my shifter hooked up and working. Put in the throttle pedal and put the console back in to check things. I'm have no idea where I'm going to fit the battery.

Re: My 1952 truck.

Fixed the drivers side crappy fitting fender today. I think when it's all back together, the stance will be good. Tomorrow I'm working on my parking brake.
