Thanks Mike. I am sure I will be calling you when it is time to cut them on my CNC. Its been a while since I have touched CAD software but appreciate it.

I'm also modeling some of the other badges for our trucks that can be customized. I may offer them in the future to the guys looking for a quality billet badge if it looks like there is demand.

Nice work Brandon.

What CNC are you getting? I've been VERY serious lately about picking one up myself.

Thanks! I'm picking up a Tormach 1100. Price is right and know a few guys running them. Hoping to keep it busy enough with design and machine work to eventually get a Haas. If you need anything just let me know.

New for me, the used market in my area is non-existent.

Re: Project Beatrix

Got the body back on the frame to start fitting up the panels and get this thing ready for paint. Finally can get my bed floor raised too!

Fuel lines are finished up also, just need to clamp them all down now.

Dont mind my wiring and air line mess, will be cleaning all that up soon!

Also spent some time Sunday modeling more badges. This one is designed to do any motor combination and I will also have an LS X version done soon!

Hey Brandon the emblems look great. What are you doing the rendering in? My son is currently taking a class in solidworks and had thought about buying the software package, but it's pretty pricey. Is there a cheaper option?

Rob I'm using Fusion360. It's a cad/cam package that is way more affordable than Solidworks. I used Solidworks for years and like it but Fusion is cam/cad all in one and no where near the cost. Let me know if you want to know anything else.

Is it a easy transition from one to the other? Where's the cheapest place to get the software?
