Hmmm. I vote for turning them out on the sides near the tanks with like a 2.5 or 3 inch chrome tip. (My opinion) but for sure do what you feel!

Re: 1977 Chevy C10 known as SharkBite
Well since a photo hasn't been added in 2 pages thought I could give you guys a weekend teaser
As you can tell I'm always switching the truck around for a while it's backed in then it's pulled in I should make up my mind already huh? Tomorrow I actually took off I have to put my DD in the shop to get looked at and get repaired, but I'm really going to try as long as I have time tomorrow sand down and maybe prime the truck too, and then well Saturday if weather is okay, photo shoot drive video and might try to pick up a wire wheel and and start working a little on the frame. I'll make sure to take pictures of what is going to be done have no worries fellas! Posted via Mobile Device

Thanks for the compliments on the wheels at first I was a little iffy to get them but since then they've grown on me and I gotta say I love them! Definitely there's a YouTube video of this father and son, and the dad is video recording it, and then a HUGE explosion happened they were both okay. No I'm not close to it, it was actually in a town called West, Texas. Which is about 3 1/2 hours from where I'm at. Definitely thoughts and prayers are too those families affected. Thanks for the compliment on the wheels bro! Yeah man.....me 2, we don't get earthquakes here in Texas but from what I've heard is the blast showed up as a 2.1 on the rictor scale, there's also reports of them not finding people at all, which rumor is the people that were already responded to the initial fire and within I would say about maybe a half mile to a mile there to believed to have decentegrated not sure if I spelt it right, it's a lot to take in even for me being 3 1/2 hours it still affects me a little. There was a report that 4 miles away this gentlemens daughter was playing outside the shockwave knocked the girl on the ground and then caused the house to expand, it's sad guys. My thoughts, prayers, and heart goes out to everyone affected by it. I'm not trying to by any means make this a sad thread but all the good and bad are a part of life. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: 1977 Chevy C10 known as SharkBite
Yeah the last update that I heard from local news last yesterday was that pretty much the whole town has been evacuated, and all the gas has been cut off to prevent any other explosion.
Just got a call on my car it'll be done by the end of the day. Also aside from doing little work on the truck, trying to think of the next thing to repair on the truck, so we'll see what gets done next my dad is talking about getting new U Bolts so we'll see what happens. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: 1977 Chevy C10 known as SharkBite
The front bumper came with the truck, I just always assumed it was fit for the truck but it would help to know that's for sure lol

Re: 1977 Chevy C10 known as SharkBite
it looks like a 81-87 the 73-80 are more square and i think the frame horns from a 73-80 are different than 81-87 have you install it at all before?

Re: 1977 Chevy C10 known as SharkBite
if it fits than that's great let me know what you had to do to make it work since i got to do the same thing on my 77 i changed the front clip on my 77 to a 86 but i kept the 77 bumper and i have the 86 bumper but i never got it installed i hear people said that the frame horns are different and there is some mods needed to make it work

Re: 1977 Chevy C10 known as SharkBite
Very valid point! Guess we just figured out that I have an 81-87 bumper, I thought it looked a little different than my friends dad, well looks like I have something to sell
I just wonder if I can still put my bumper guards on my correct style bumper, because to my knowledge I really haven't seen any with bumper guards Yeah I would like to still use it, but I don't want it to look like it doesn't belong if you know what I mean? Posted via Mobile Device
