Re: 67-71 door panels black/ red/checkers

where are you located in Tn, I'm over in Lafayette about an hour northeast of Nashville, looks like really nice work and a good price and hopefully within driving distance, we have 3 old trucks we are wanting to start on this summer. I've just been looking around the site to start putting a build sheet together.

Re: 67-71 door panels black/ red/checkers

Can you do the scroll work in a vinyl seat cover?

What would a Highlander seat cover cost? I can provide the plaid material if necessary.

The scroll heat press is done by SMS and I think they priced the panels at $85.00 each and it takes them a while to produce them , They priced the vinyl at $55.00 a yard but many trim supply shops sell it for much less . I can build anything you want

Do you have anything in a charcoal color like this? May be interested in door panels, dash pad, and visors if so.

I can color match just about anything , There are 1,000's of different color vinyls . If your wanting a cloth match they are available too but I'll need year / make /and model of the truck those seats came out of and the original fabrics can get real expensive . you can check out this supplier I use and see if there's a match you like

Re: 67-71 door panels black/ red/checkers

Grumpy, I might be interested in something in the Allante vinyl. I've been thinking about redoing my interior in saddle, and that looks like it would be similar. I have a 72 Cheyenne Super, so I'd need a headliner as well if possible, but wouldn't really need the door panels.

I'd like to keep it closer to stock appearance, so if I were able to provide the houndstooth insert material, could you do a stock-ish bench seat cover, the french seam dash cover, visors, and a headliner? Alternately, a nice saddle color with the pleating where the houndstooth would be would probably work as well.

Sure , Here are a couple shades of Houndstooth material. The Allante is really one of my favorite materials to work with and makes nice seats . The shipping on the headliner would be oversized charges but your not that far away .

Nope, I might even make a road trip out of it and just come pick it up. I actully like this houndstooth:

http://www.albrightssupply.com/Nova-Brown-p/novalb.htm

but maybe this vinyl?

http://www.albrightssupply.com/Prodi...n-p/pro689.htm

Hard to tell from sample pics. The Cinnamon looks almost burnt orange (at least on my monitor), but since it isn't an actual picture of the vinyl maybe it isn't in person?

Let me know what you'd charge with those products in mind. Thanks in advance!!!

Jake

Thanks for your prompt response.
1. Can you facilitate getting the scroll work?
2. Can the scroll work be done on the Allante vinyl?
3. Provided the answer to 1 and 2 is yes. How much for a 72 bench seat with Blue Plaid (Highlander) inserts.

Options?

Thanks again.

Re: 67-71 door panels black/ red/checkers

Grumpy, finally got time to open my package(I got the all black 67-68 panels). I just wanted to say they look even better in person than the pics show. For less than the price of lmc`s plastic door panels to simulate these I got a set of awesome door panels.

Guys if you need new panels don't hesitate to order from grumpy. I have plans to install these in the next few weeks when I get the truck out. I will post some installed pics when I do. thanks again!

Re: 67-71 door panels black/ red/checkers

Hey Mr Grumpy,

I think I have found what Im looking for...
I am really loving these "full" door panels and this "full" dash pad look...

These seats with the grommets are awesome too. I will be building a custom center console and would need it to be covered to match as well. I know this would not be cheap.... but considering the price they are selling for on the site I found it all on, I know you could do better. This is all listed for 67-72 c10 by the way....

Now for the question... would you be able to do anything like these? Would you need a pattern for the full door and dash panels?
