Re: 67-71 door panels black/ red/checkers

Black 9 double pleat panels are $85.00 shipped

The red/black with the checkers sold for $125.00

A set like these below are Allante vinyl looks like leather ,feels like leather ,but it will never shrink ,crack, or get hard like real leather will .I use allante on a lot of my own projects it's very comfortable to sit on .
This design on water proof door boards $150.00

I'll be offering complete interior sets,

Bench seat covers / a set of door panels / A french seamed dash cover and a set of visors (I recover your visors) and a set of hog ring pliers and hog rings all of it in vinyl for $350.00 - $400.00 depending on design! Now that's a deal !

Re: 67-71 door panels black/ red/checkers

I can build anything anyone may want from just a picture I've been building interiors for 40 years , I'm offering some less expensive stock looking door panels to the members in here walk into any upholstery shop and they'll cost double the price for sewn panels the laminated panels (vinyl glued over foam ) on ebay will delaminate in a hot truck .

Sure ,I can build them anyway you want , Or I can sew the covers for your dash or panels and you can install them yourself . All I need is a picture or basic sketch of what you want

Are you back in business? I know you have patterns for the Dodge buddy buckets (I have seen the posted pics) and I need covers with coordinating door cards. Whatta you say?

Well ...As everyone knows new truck parts aren't cheap and Ms Grumpy has me on a budget just like everybody else ,So since I have all the equipment and sources and have been building interiors for so many years and I don't have to leave home to build them and ship them it's just a means to the end goal of finishing my trucks and staying out of the "dog house" here at home !I'm offering up some services at a lower cost than your local upholstery shop . That being said All the seats I've built lately once I was done with the patterns I tossed them .Wish I didn't now but they are gone . I'm looking for old worn out seat covers for patterns ,So to build your seats I need the passengers cover . The passengers side usually has less wear and distortion from less use . I'm working on some complete custom interior kits that will cost less than whats currently out there for a seat cover alone .

Top pic is what I have, cover seems like it would be a good template. Second pic is a fellow member's seats and what I would like to turn mine into. I have the houndstooth material, I prefer leather if I could swing it but it's not a deal breaker.

Re: 67-71 door panels black/ red/checkers

Looks like a really good price. I am not ready for interior yet. Hopefully in a couple of more months I will be ready.

If you get any more done I would be interested in more pics. Thinking that I would go saddle with hounds tooth.

You have dodge buddy seats and to convert them to the Chevy look you'll have to have the base foam reworked to make new covers fit also the center armrest has a different shape than the dodge seats , If you are able to fix the foam yourself I can build you the same design as the houndstooth picture. If not the best bet would be for you to take them to your local auto trim shop , As a general rule building them in real leather would add about $250.00 over vinyl ...

Re: 67-71 door panels black/ red/checkers

So I just picked up a 68 but its not at home (getting a couple little things done at a buddys house) so I cant go out and look at it, what do you need from me to get an order going? I just want black covers for everything. Simple pleats, don't care about the stock look. To me pleats like you show in the brown are just fine. I have close to one zillion visors so I can grab a set and send them off to you. And for the dash pad I guess I just wrap and glue?

I have both the 67 folding seat and the 68 non folding seats here that I can use for patterns to build a pleated seat cover,I just need to know which seat you have because some 68's had the folding seat , Other than that I just need your visors . The dash cover is just a wrap and glue with a french seam across .PM sent

Look at the Picture above ^^^ of the lt saddle color door panels with the pair of scissors . That is Allante vinyl it looks like leather feels like leather and is very nice to the touch I use it on my own projects and love it and that color would look great with your green . When choosing colors for your interior using contrasting color can really look good because when you try to use a close match it can take away from the whole truck and just be Blah.
