Re: $612.13 quote from Safelite

I stopped into an auto glass shop and asked how much to put a windshield in my 65 and he quoted me $195 with new rubber. I asked about 60 to 63 and he said it would cost $300. This is the wrap around glass.

THIS - I had a new tinted windshield put in my 64 a couple of years ago, it was less than $200 parts, labor, everything. And they did a nice job. Looks great and no leaks.

For what it's worth, I had my 66's windshield replaced by Speedy Glass 2 years ago. Cost around $250-$265. PWG tinted glass, they provided the seal so they could warranty it. No leaks and they got to it real fast for me.
