Re: Hidden Long to Short Bed

I just read today on another forum that a poster genuinely thought a "289" meant 289 horsepower... so yea... not everyone is as knowledgeable, they know they want a cool truck and have the money to buy it, so they enjoy it for a while, sell it, buy another.

Re: Hidden Long to Short Bed

It's a reasonable expectation that the frame has not been hacked apart and reassembled. If you are looking at a hot rod, then the expectation is custom, and major components were modified. But a stock looking truck that is not stock is kind of a sucker punch.

The classic car game can be fun, or a nightmare. Just like swimming, if you don't know how... not so fun!

Any hacking needs to be done... I'll do it thank you very much!

Conclusion: Buy a K... and a long bed!

Re: Hidden Long to Short Bed

I've learned a s*** ton from this board about these trucks .... its pretty cool I appreciate that

I bought my truck first before I found the boards ... but I'm very happy w it . I was looking for a running project/hot rod ... I know the basics ... bondo/sheetmetal/motor/tranny etc ... and i found it after a lot of looking .

U guys take it to another level which is cool and Iv learned a crapload ...I see there's about two price ranges .... the it is what it is price range ... and the it better add up and deliver spid/frame/vin price range .... but then there's complete customs yadayadayada hahaha .

I bought from the it is what it is category
