i got a question about the steel headlight bezels, are the original ones steel and the aftermarkets alum? got a set that have been painted and i am pretty sure they are oe, but not sure. thanks for any input.

They made both steel and aluminum. Steel would have been painted white or silver or black? in 67-68 and steel painted black in 69-70. I'm pretty sure 71-72 were just aluminum. And aluminum was available all years 67-72...

I will call the guy at the body shop today and ask how much he'll charge me to paint a bunch of this at once. I'm thinking with paint materials and his time it'll add around $15-20/per part to the non-painted price???. But that will be professionally painted....

I'm also checking with Tx Firefighter about powdercoating a shipment of parts as an option as well.... but that of course would be more than the paint.

Ive sent several things down to him. He just powder coated and rebuilt all the door hinges to my panel. He does great work.

Hey Jonathan, just checking with you, see what you left for the doors. I have the windor regulators. could use a set of latches for both doors. and some tailgate stuff. not exactly sure on the tailgate yet it hasn't arrived yet... Thanks pete

sorry about that. I checked and I have both door latches with rods, and one lock actuator (forgot which side), have both pair of window channels. I have a couple complete sets of tailgate hardware.
