Dipped and Bead blasted parts like new!!!

Parts perfect for a nice truck but a must have for a high end restoration. I consider many of these parts to be superior to some NOS parts I've sold because many NOS parts have surface rust and/or a rough finish that needs removed before paint or powder. These ARE USED parts but all look and function like new!!!

I have had several of my best parts bead blasted by tll74 for my 72 cheyenne super project and sent my best extras at the same time. I took the best of my other parts and also some more I got from Randy (Teeitup) and Sharpie and had them brought back to like new condition. His process:

Quote:
I hot tank the parts in a caustic solution (removes all the paint and oil-grease-etc.) and then dip over night or so in a acid thank that kills the rust. The third step is a simple glass bead and then the part is like new, 100% rust free.
Hood hinges function just like the NOS set I have. Not loose at all (except cheaper pairs as listed). Same with door hinges, latches, and lock actuators. Just wipe the parts down with prep and prime/paint...or send them to Txfirefighter and get them powdercoated!!! (I can ship to him if you request)

All prices are picked up. I will combine shipping if you purchase multiple items. I have other bead blasted parts I will be listing as well as other used parts I can combine shipping with also.

Hood hinges with springs 100/pr
***I do have a couple pair that are nice but not perfectly tight for 60/pr
72 door lock actuators 80/pr super tight springs
Small block engine towers w/bolts 45/pr
Complete tailgate hardware in gate and on bed with bolts 120
Door hinges 100/set
Grille end supports 75/pr (Fit MUCH better than the repops do!!!)
Grille end supports with extra holes or loose nutserts still useable 40/pr
Door latches nice and tight 55 each/ or 90/pr
Body side door catches 45 each or 75/pr w/ shims & bolts/washers complete!
67-68 steel headlight bezels 80/pr
69-72 steel headlight bezels 50/pr
Windshield wiper transmission 75/set
72 window regulators nice with good splines! 120/pr
71-72 parking lamp housings with pigtails (wiring like new) 80/pr
Window guide channels 30 each
rear wheel well Splash shields 120/pr- these are super nice!!!
69-72 e-brake 45
Lower window track (glass mounts into) 25 each
a/c battery tray with battery clamp and clamp for a/c hose 150
69-70 center grille support 40
brake booster to firewall support bracket 30

Hood Hinges and Springs

72 lock actuators

Grille Brackets

Door latches

All tailgate hardware including handle and screws/bolts

Other parts (pics from Tll74 before he shipped to me)

Re: Dipped and Bead blasted parts like new!!!

A couple of the parts in the pictures show light flash rust on them from humidity in transport to me. Those parts have been washed in a solution that removes it and then in a second which will prevent it from occuring.

It really is amazing how good this process works. The foam pieces inside the tailgate are soft again, and any wiring is soft and pliable

Do you want the window channels also?

Or the regulators (72), door lock actuators, and door latch (do you want the catches that receive them on the cab?)

I will have to look at the regulators and door actuators to see if I have a pair of them for a 68. The ones posted are 72 specific and would stick out too far for a 68 unless you are using a 72 style door panel or something custom that's going to be thicker than normal. I won't be able to check today as I will be gone the entire day and it's in a box I will have to dig out and sort through. I can check tomorrow and will post here. Thanks

Re: Dipped and Bead blasted parts like new!!!

still have a lot of these really nice parts. Planning to start painting them satin or gloss black soon at a body shop I'm working with....any more interest with them painted vs bare (price will go up $10-20 per part once painted)
