So I found a good deal on Rocket booster 6's. But they only come in 20x9 with 5 back space and 20x9 5.75 bacspace. What's the best choice? Looking at 275/45/20.

I would use the 5" Backspace ones (0 offset), you may need 1.5" spacers for the rear to get the rims closer to the outside of the fender for looks.

My rims are 10" with 0 offset and I would like more backspace in the front but the ones you are looking at are 9" and would give you .5" more clearance than mine (when you go to disk). The 5.75 backspace would give you 1.25" more clearance than mine.

If you are going to change to disk, in most kits it moves the spindle out .75" so the 5.75" backspace rims would offset (no pun intended) the addition of disk spindles. CPP has no offset disk kits by the way, then you could have all the same size rims.

Make sure you check the hub size's. Hate for you to go this far and then they wouldn't fit!

Thank you. I think they are 106's but I will double check. That's what sucks about ordering online. I did call Rocket direct to check the fitment and they said I was good. But again I will doublel check. I had them quote the Nitto NT555 in a 255/35 ZR20 and a Toyo proxies st 275/45/20. What do you think? Thanks again.

275x45's fit good and fill the wheel well.
See how close the front are close to the wheel well opening

I forgot to ask, how much of a drop are you running? I pulled the trigger and ordered the boosters with the 275/45/20's all around.

I have bags all around so hard to say the exact drop but I like to run with the top of the tires at the top of the wheel wells most of the time.

I installed a soft top on my Jimmy today, it was pretty easy. I just got the 5.3 running and may take it for a drive tomorrow, if the rain stops.

Thanks, it's rust free but not very straight, I bought it with a bad 350 so I had a 5.3 and swapped it in. It will be just a runner for the beach, fishing and hauling around the grandkids.

I think you made a great choice, they look very nice on your truck.

This is my truck with the Torq Thrust STs. They are the 19mm offset. To make them work I had to enlarge the hub bore and because I have the narrow 70 rear end and a 285 rear tire I had to add a 1" spacer on each side. I also have air bags so I needed a little more room for rear ended travel.

This is where I increased the bore size with a router and Rabbeting bit.

I might have to add a spacer once I get the bed reinstalled. We painted on Friday night so we should be assembling it this week. I am trying to make a local car show on Saturday. I have a lot of work to get there though. Even if its only at 80% complete I will still have a blast. Thanks guys.

Yeah man 5-lug is really the only reasonable option, parts are easier to find, wheels are easier to find, it's just a win-win.

Thanks, its House of Colors candy HOK001125-01. I purchased from RRods. It really was comparable to price with most systems. It looks bronzy under fluorescent lights but a darker red in daylight. It almost seems to change colors. Thanks

I painted my red 67 in my garage too!!! ( not perfect but good enough )
