I have six Vehicles parked beside the house towards the street (Corner Lot... ).. 4 non runners, most of them have been out there awhile... no complaints so far... then again, I live in the "ghetto"... not to mention the two cars we park ON the street... then the two others I have stored elsewhere..

at one point, I had 7 cars parked here. mine and my wifes daily drivers, a 77 firebird, an 84 Trans am, one of my brother-in-laws cars, my dads racecar, which I was trying to talk him out of, and an 86 Camaro....

didn't last long, but it was nice to walk out my back door and be greeted by a yard full of projects...

You know had that happen at the place I am staying at now while I am building my new place, one of the neighbors complained about my "Old junk" well the code enforcement officer was up for a real surprise when I showed him that all of the "old junk" was licensed registered insured and ran.

the only thing that I've done to her so far has been some engine work and suspension work, new wheels and a coat of primer, which needs to be redone.
I'll post pics tommorow as I'm hoping to get the ime to tint her windows then.

I havem' even put all of the light covers back on yet...

not unless I want to flip my baby...

about 10-15 feet behind wher I was standing when I took that picture, my yard suddenly dips down about 4 feet, and teh way I pull donuts, I'd be on my roof after the second spin...

I am however not opposed to laying lines on the road in front of my house...

oh s***, that would suck! It would suck to crawl out of your rolled truck and look at the neighbor and say, "how about that bee-otch"!
It's probably safer to lay some lines on the street.....

well, it wouldn't be so bad unless she managed to roll to the edge of my property and hit the 15 foot drop there...
that might leave a mark.

Build your nice big garage. Put it right on the 10' variance line (wouldn't hurt to be a few more inches off of it just for safe measures) and follow all codes to the tee. To he77 with neighbors like that. I've always been one to keep to myself at home in my own yard. If a neighbor gets in my business then I turn very vengeful and spiteful. I hate being like that but they need to mind their own business.

Another one saying build what you need to, absolutely legally. Then paint flowers on it, because it's the only thing your neighbor will see.

I'd also post no trespassing signs, telling him to stay the fawk off your property.

Re: I hate living in the "city"... also known as "Sweet Revenge"

i have a neighbor that has called the city on me several times. i had to prove to them that my 72 project truck could move under it's own power and stop on it's own, which i did while the inspector stood outside my property line on the sidewalk. last week someone told them i was keeping 14 dogs on my property, this time i had to let them on my property to "count" dogs--we have 5, which is allowed here. i have a good idea who is calling but not 100% sure so i'm keeping my mouth shut and dealing with the BULL $HIT. when i find out for sure who is calling, i guarntee there will be some serious he!! in their life

My favorite quote applies here; "Good fences make good neighbors". Some cities have height limits and such but between agreeing neighbors sometimes you can exceed these limits. If it was me I think I would have built a fence that would have made the East Germans proud. You have to live next to the guy, might as well have peace.

I used leeland? cyprus trees for a fence, they grow to around 20 foot tall.We once had an ahole neighbor that made an a** of himself. One drunken night we went into his yard and sprayed a**hole in it with roundup in 6 ft letters
