400hp and some good traction and gears will get our trucks into the 13's.

This deal about how fast someone runs the quarter is about like fishing. I don't believe anything I hear unless I see it with my own eyes.

I've been great Tracy. How have you been? I wasn't talking about your truck. I know your truck was fast. I was only talking about in general.

What kind of truck you driving since you sold the other one? Do you miss it? Why did you decide to sell it anyway?

when you see a truck or car for that matter, pull the front wheels on the street, its not hard to figure they are running a bit faster than 13 secs, lol. i have seen some only 11 sec cars pull the front wheels pretty hard though. if no one believes street racing in dallas is that serious then i have a video of a 79 ford fairmont with an ls1 swap that runs 6's in the 1/8, 10's in the 1/4 pullin the wheels HARD

my truck runs in the low 8's corrected time. corrected for altitude... and oh yeah and also a top fuel dragster engine correction for my powerhouse 305.

i've just always that all this altitude corrected time stuff is kinda stupid, i mean a car runs whatever it runs on whatever track where ever your running at.

Theres a black 83 or so mustang around my town that runs 5.5 in the 8th. Every now and then on a friday or saturday night you will see him driving around town. It looks scary.

the truck I have right now runs low 14s with a stock 8.1: 454 with 268H cam shorty headers, performer intake 770Holley & 4.11s posi while fighting for traction. I use to have a 76 shortbed with 4.11s open & a mild 305.. that truck ran 13.80s. cant wait to redo this 454 with some compression.. 12s would be fun

Low 17/high 16 with a 305.
13 seconds are easy. The guy I bought my traction bars has an 87 with a 454 running airplane fuel in the low 13's with a 3.73 gear. 4.11's and he would be in the 12's. I rode in it once. That thing is a monster!! Without slicks it can burn the tires off for blocks.
