it wonn't matter once you get the brush gaurd on. personaly i like the 69 70 grills on 4x4s. to much unprotected plastic with the egg crates imo but there all cool

if you want to be different, get a 67-68 hood and modify the front lip so it will work with the 72 clip. people will scratch their heads for hours trying to figure out what looks different about your truck.

please enlighten me. i want the 67-8 hood, and i dont want to pay the thousands for the rest of the parts. how difficult is this?

Who said anything about a brushguard?Its getting a stock chrome bumper,as soon as the truck gets painted in a few months to finish off the ground up restoration

Well, even though I'm converting a 69 to a 68... I voted keep the 71-72 look because I think the more "truck like" 69-72 clips look the best on 4x4's. As others have said 67-68 look best on 2wd. They all look good lifted and lowered, but that's the way I lean...
