it wonn't matter once you get the brush gaurd on. personaly i like the 69 70 grills on 4x4s. to much unprotected plastic with the egg crates imo but there all cool

Who said anything about a brushguard?Its getting a stock chrome bumper,as soon as the truck gets painted in a few months to finish off the ground up restoration

Well, even though I'm converting a 69 to a 68... I voted keep the 71-72 look because I think the more "truck like" 69-72 clips look the best on 4x4's. As others have said 67-68 look best on 2wd. They all look good lifted and lowered, but that's the way I lean...
