As much as I'd like to jump on the bandwagon, I'd really like to see that one finished. I always like the "Dare to be Different" approach.

Have to agree with ya Randy. Might not be done right , but I think it would look quite sick with some 21.5 wide Mickey T's in the bed and a ramjet 502 in the bay! Guess I'm just goofy like that...

I just wonder if you could turn the intake on a ram jet around to take advantage of the scoop.

the truck dose look a bit cartoonish but it dose have a cool look to it. it would look nice if the front was lowered and the back had some huge drag slicks

Call me crazy, but despite the fact it looks like a leftover from a Mad Max film, I like it.

Ditch the frame, add a custom tube chassis and back half that sucker. It would make a cool drag truck. It is definately a slop job, but it could be used as a race truck easily. Since it has been chopped up so bad, it makes a perfect candidate for full on race. Like maybe a Pro-Mod!!

Looks like a full size "Muscle Machine" die-cast! Never seen a chopped top on one of these trucks that I like, yet I have to say this one I do like. The angle forward just works for me... but the ground effects...NO WAY!
I think this thread needs to be a poll.

LUV2XCLR8-
Yep thats the color...It's been being called "The Green Bean" for a few years now and it just wouldn't be the same if I changed it. Anyhow it only took 30 years but it looks like that color is making a comeback...ie the new VW Bug and a few other new models that I have seen around. I have a pic of the "before" in my profile. I'd post some pics of the after but its currently in way too many pieces strewn around my garage...Hope to get it back together in August.

I have mixed emotions about that truck but overall, it has (or had) the potential to be a decent truck. At least unique and one of a kind! As far as chopped tops go, I like them on these trucks but it can't be too drastic! I think that truck has gone a bit too far in the chopped department. I also had the same thought regarding Mad Max or the Road Warrior when I saw pics of the front-end.
This truck, on the other hand, has been tastefully chopped at a rake. If I remember correctly, it was something like 2-1/4" up front and 1-3/4" on the rear of the cab. Not sure of the exact chop specs but it was something like that.

"Tastefully chopped"....that is the best way put! i talked with a 1/2 dozen guys on the chop on my longhorn. The best price was on a 8 " chop....around 1200 bones. well,I looked at the truck the dude did(radical, but nice). Told him that the truck was nice....but I was a little on the conservative side. I had to cut it my d@mn self.....3 3/4 at the rear, tipped foward about 1/2". the front pillars were laid back 8-9 degrees......there aint a bit of of fill on the top side of the top .....6 bills later, up to glass front /rear, & about 60 hrs, that squashed top chev was rollin Still dont have the door glass done.....but she is a rod crazyL
