Re: What did you get done? 03/30

Had a fish fry to eat up the catfish we have caught over the last several weeks.

Helped a friend put a gas tank and gas line in his '66 Dart GT. We took it on its first drive after several years of storage at 2:00 a.m with marginal brakes no plates or inspection, no dash lights, and the carb flooding over. It only stranded us once.

Spent 6 hours on Sunday setting up a new computer for my Mother-in-law, running all of the updates for the OS and installing her software.

As usual, I did nothing on my own junk...

Finally fired the new motor.. Sorry for the unedited copy

Still need to finish tuning and then get on the exhaust and front end sheet metal. Otherwise it was a cold snowy weekend here in the Northwest.

Re: What did you get done? 03/30

I drove to Montgomery to drop off some parts to OJOE and picked up some rear doors that weren't going to be used so i can get Rod Doors to make some rear panels that match the fronts.

Sweet you got it running, it sounds good.. It looks like it's cold at your place.

Post some pics when you get time.

Re: What did you get done? 03/30

I spent a few hours washing cars on saturday (the 84 squarebody, 07 Avalanche my DD and my wifes 07 Infiniti G35 Sport) and on Sunday I got my crawfish and drink on! Cooked about 110 lbs of mudbugs and had about 20 people over.

Re: What did you get done? 03/30

Finally got a alignment after slamming the truck 6 1/2" in the front. Why have I been driving around like that for two weeks, I don't know.
Finally fixed the glove box, never closes and the lock was lose. Went used bumper shopping. Bought goodies for the 53 chev. More important tires are on order. BFG's, of course. Preparing for the Portland Meet Swap or Swap meet.
