2 problems i need help with

my dad has a 79 square with the same size tank i have i remember when i was a kid 5$ would put him on half a tank

Yeah I remember those days too, I can remember when my dads' 1969 Camaro with a fairly built engine was my dads' daily driver.

yeah back then all you seen was squares then gas went up and cash for clunkers claimed the lives of alot of them and then which ones survived people wouldnt drive because of gas if you ride the backroads around here you see alot of squared in people backyards coverd in weeds waiting to be saved........

Actually surprisingly around here there are a lot of squares still driving around. Not many sitting they all get bought up around here. Guess everyone wants them around here.

around here there mainly in the woods or made into beer cans everyone wants scrap metal and theres so many of these trucks they scrap half of them, most of the ones that ride around here are stock and all beat up even at the car show theres only a handful thats actually been restored

Yeah it's sad, a lot of there trucks out there are fairly rust free correct?

some are some aint, i got lucky on mine and it was 100% rust free but it had i nice warm garage to sit in all of its life. most of them have the usual cab corner fender well rust but its usually not that bad because we usually dont have bad winters so they dont salt the roads too much

That's I figured out here you'd be lucky to find one that doesn't have any rust. And if you did it would cost a fortune.

yeah my uncle lives in albion IN has a 03 dodge ram hemi mega cab and the fenderwells are already rusted out

Oh yeah that's the normal around here, my neighbor has the same thing he is trying to make it a show truck so he's getting the metal replaced in winter.

it looks like they would find something else to put on the road up there that dont rust vehicles............

Haha I have always thought that too but I guess not. If you find trucks out here older than 20 years old, they will be here forever no matter how rusted out they will be.
