Mine was a gift from my most excellent new wife and my ex-wife can not touch it, complain about it or tell me what I can and can not do with it!

Can you say yellow?

I got a vehicle painted the color I've always wanted - the brightest yellow I could find. It's the Corvette Millenium yellow (also known as chrome yellow) painted over a bright white primer. It glows in the sunshine.

I have to say my favorite thing is that no one has one like mine. I have a buddy who gives me hell for putting money in an old truck, he drives a newer truck which looks just like thousands of other trucks in my area - he knows me when we pass on the road, I'm never sure it's him tell I can see his face.

I think that the lines. Looking at the front of my 67 clip and the way the lines curve and flow anll the way down the box side is Sweet. And to say that there is NO rust on it will be cool. The fact that it is Owner Built is killer Too.

I like the body style the most.
No Emissions testing on it.
Its paid for.
I can do what I want with it.
For now its kind of ugly, and uncomfortable for the wife, so I can drive it solo for quality time with me and it.
Its mine.

Another thing -
I met a friend at a landing down in Red Wing. While transfering stuff into my BRAND NEW Triton TR19 a guy climbing around his boat stops and says,
"I'm impressed."
I answered, "Thanks. I really like this new boat."
"No I mean the fact that you pull that boat with that truck."

I didn't pause and answered,
"The truck is increasing in value and the boat is decreasing in value"

What I like most about my truck......lets see now......there are more than 4 letters in it's name. I think that they look better than most trucks.

They are the opposite of a NEW truck.
They go up in value! Not down!
And they are easy to work on.
No emmissions!
They just plain LOOK GOOD!

The fact that it used to be my dad's.
Everytime I look at it I think of him.
That's why the plates say Dads72.
I wish he could come back and re-claim it.
