Re: 1972 K-10 Score - finally!

Very nice truck! Dark olive on a 4x4... don't get much better than that...well then there's the Cheyenne super part! You did good!

Re: 1972 K-10 Score - finally!

Thanks all! I love the fact that it's a 4X4 Super, but wish it had a few more options, at least A/C. What about 4 speed vs. auto? I'd prefer automatic (and have a set up here), but would 4 speed be more rare or desirable?

Nice! Drive it while you personalize it your way.

Re: 1972 K-10 Score - finally!

I specifically sought out a 4x4 Super without AC (just wanted it simpler under the hood), but then again I don't live in Alabama.

As for transmission, do what you want, of course - but my suggestion would be to leave it stock. They're only original once. Feel free to remind me of this when I get stupid enough to order up a HT383 for my truck.

It has been repainted at some point, but color looks close to original.

Original license plate surround from Stewart Chevrolet in San Francisco. I put the tag in - War Eagle!

Re: 1972 K-10 Score - finally!

Here's an update of what I've done so far:
1) backyard Krylon white paint
2) 2" lift
3) 8" steelies

I concur with Tyler, great looking truck! You did the entire middle with Krylon? Looks good from here.
