Re: Circus wagon Jim, gone again?
If I was in Texas, I'd be glad to give you most of the parts you need, unfortunately there's quite a few miles between there and Kentucky. It's great to see you back on here and I'm sure the folks on this board will do all they can to help you make that trip for your girls! Hoping the next decade is better for you and all of us!

Re: Circus wagon Jim, gone again?
Got into it today- story checks out that it has a freshly changed timing chain- now to see if the story checks out that they iunstalled it 180 out and gave up. No idea why the pass side engine mount is missing though.

Re: Circus wagon Jim, gone again?
Well hey Jim. Glad to hear you are still around. Sounds like you've had quite a rough go. A lot of things have changed for many of us the last few years. We're all just tightening up where we can and trying to keep up. We have to believe it will turn around again soon.
The 2wd Blazers are cool. I've wanted one myself. I even gave strong thought to converting the 85 4wd one I had a few years back but ultimately decided it was too nice a truck to do that to so I sold it and bought another pickup. You will no doubt visit the 73 to 87 Blazers and Suburban forum now. Good bunch of guys there too. Did you say you no longer have the circus wagon?

That's what I was thinking too.

Re: Circus wagon Jim, gone again?
No- I don't have it anymore- and the truck no longer exists. It was smoothed out and painted- the OPPOSITE of why I built it. But people still talk about it so it will be my claim to fame in the truck world for a while.
Yes, it was a '67-'72 Fleetside bumper that was narrowed 4 inches. |

Re: Circus wagon Jim, gone again?
Drove it everyday and took it on the racetrack. It was pretty fast.
