Re: Dealer Emblems and Stickers
These are from Branine Chevrolet in Mulvane Kansas... These appear to be from the early 70's... My Truck was originally purchased From Branine in 1966... The Dealership closed its doors in the mid 90's and sold to a Ford Dealership... since then the building has been several automotive type operations and now sits empty... I would really like to find some of the original "Cast" emblems from them but have not been able to locate any so these will be magnetized so they can be put on and off and not damage the truck...

Re: Dealer Emblems and Stickers
Ol Blue was ordered at Spedding. I've been on the hunt for license plate frames. That sticker would be cool too. Maybe I'll try to get it duplicated. Such a cool thread.

I would probably need to remove my tailgate to get a good picture.

Unless someone needed a reproduction thats fine. But if you do want a better picture shooting some light under the tailgate ledge (maybe a mirror) would probably help a lot.

Re: Dealer Emblems and Stickers
Yeah, the truck original had a step bumper. It also had a camper shell from the time it was new. I have the take off gate that is as nice as the day the truck was sold new. The sticker may have been more visible with the step bumper.

Re: Dealer Emblems and Stickers
I remember them, used to buy parts there all the time when I worked in Redondo Beach. Been gone about 10 years or so now, place was a Mercedes-Benz dealer for a bit but then closed. Vacant buildings still there. Corner of North Sepulveda and 8th. Street.

Had hoped Eric would have posted this by now... but since it is a favorite of mine held back waiting for a bump,

Re: Dealer Emblems and Stickers
These came off a gen correct c-40/50/60 in a local jy awhile ago.
Just too cool too leave them behind. Kids truck had a "Gary chevrolet" emblem on it that we removed. its in one of my stash boxes but buried deep rite now. These are usually on display somewhere in the garage.

Re: Dealer Emblems and Stickers
Holy cow, here's a license plate frame from a dealer in my hometown on eBay, going for $228: http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-El-Segu...-/120860111817
Says the dealer was established 1952(A little before my time but I think it might have still been there when I was a kid). It's long gone now. I've got one of these in my garage. I'll dig it up and post a pic of it. Then maybe I'll sell it on eBay

Re: Dealer Emblems and Stickers
Here ya go tim, sorry for the delay...
Ree motors was on my 69 CST truck. The white bear ones were on a 71. The Danielson is my hometown and was on a mid 70s I think. The GW7000 is cool as it reads Minnesota on the bottom. The green take off gate is Moses in cloquet.

The Cook one I don't know what it was on.
The one hard to read is Down Town Chevrolet Minneapolis and is on a 72 blazer.

This will be on my 2wd Jimmy. Lucky for me GM Canada had the selling dealer info otherwise it would have remained a mystery.

Re: Dealer Emblems and Stickers
Ok....I'm in.
Here are the originals off my truck (there are 2 for both front and back) which was a Fremont, California built truck and shipped to: John Geer Chevrolet Sacramento, Calif. ....hopefully license plate surrounds count. Always nice to have this original stuff with the truck, along with build sheet indicating the same destination, etc. All good Coley
