i had stock idiot lights
cut off the pocket ,top right
used a Autometer tach for a while till recently installed a factory gauge/tach cluster
and then put my new radio top right

I painted the inside of the cluster gloss white while it was apart
made a big difference,added red LEDS for a second colour

the whites act like normal,red come on when the truck is running
kinda neat having the cluster light up without running lights

I just started messing with mine this week... I'll post some pictures when it's done...







I was going to but the brushed cover over the top but I decided to smooth it also... This was my first fiber glass/bondo project so it's going a little slow... but looks like it's getting there
