swb85 I mounted mine the same as you but hated not being able to see the top of the speedometer and tach so I angled them up

once I get to the interior part of this project I plan on fiber glassing then in to make it look better

I want to say it was around $550 or so dont remember the total it was a while ago when I done that, for me it was a must I built the engine to street/strip the truck and didnt want to rely on old gauges

just looked up the prices
speedo $135
tach $220

the others are $50 to $70 each but it depends on the gauges you like

I seen that one just some thing about it I really dont like, I've seen that in a truck at a local show it was ok maybe best used for a strip only truck

I personally think the auto meter gauges behind the factory bezel looks the best, I want a custom interior so my bezel's going to get glassed and painted

Here is mine from my build thread. You can kind of see the factory tach I swapped in behind the steering wheel.

The lower portion is a little plain, but the recess for the gauges totally rocks.

Here they are compared to the stock incandescent bulbs...

Here is a direct link to them from V-Leds. I purchase a lot of product through them and the quality is far superior to ANYTHING I have tested from eBay or any other cheap-o option. Remember, you do get what you pay for! Also, they do 50% off sales quite often, so if you sign up for their email news letter they will keep you posted. I got my dash cluster LED's for $6.99/pair.

That custom guage panel belongs to 73GMC454. He made it himself. Its in his build thread. I personally think its awesome.

Jeff,
Where did you get that pocket on the upper right of the bezel? Is that just a standard non-a/c bezel?
