Not to put a damper on your enthusiasm Marshy but K30 dump has a Cab and Chassis frame, 135.5",
not 131 like a pickup

Re: Leftover parts: Cab, K30 frame, core supports, etc...
Crossmember between rear spring hangers is removed, was too far gone. Also pulled the reinforcements for the spring hangers, but have them here to reinstall. Everything else is still attached, should be ready to go . Pitting is only around the spring hangers/cross member area, otherwise perfect. Was an ambulance chassis, so never plowed with, etc. Truck was an '84, only had 38k miles...
Have a few pics on my phone, can get more if needed. Pitting: Front section: Sorry for the crappy pics, but gives you an idea. Probably hanging onto the springs... Thanks, Joe Last edited by K30_dump; 02-05-2014 at 09:57 PM. |

Re: Leftover parts: Cab, K30 frame, core supports, etc...
Bundy,
Will try to get pics of the hubs tomorrow, sorry for the delay. Snow every other day here it seems, lots of cleanup ... 79Betty, Will do. Just to remind everyone, the wheelbase on this frame is 4" longer than a pickup frame. Could use a standard 8' box and will bolt right up, but would have a 4" gap between cab and bed... Good news is, being a cab-and-chassis frame, its slightly thicker than even a pickup K30 frame, so is the heaviest square body frame available . Figured you knew, just wanted to make sure . Thanks guys, Joe |

If you have the Milemarker hubs still, are they for '72 2nd design-75 K/20 or do you mean earlier w/drum brake/closed knuckle?
