How good are the floor sections that angle down & meet the cab corners?

Re: Cutting up Truck cab for
How about the radio holes? Well, the area around the holes
Price and shipping to 76051? You can probably cut it out and then in half vertically to get the halves in the smallest USPS flat rate box. I compared, and it looks like the whole thing will just fit in a small USPS flat rate box even without cutting in half. Last edited by franken; 02-25-2014 at 11:55 PM. |

Re: Cutting up Truck cab for
rustytruck50 those sections are rusty
ironduke yes still being parted gutsyracing, I haven't received anything yet? maybe it'll show up tomorrow. and please pm me you address if it isn't on the paypal info. Thanks franken, you want the square and two holes for the radio cutout? usually its best to cut the big section out by the gauges and the glove box, easier to piece together that way without having to hide many welds. |

I need a section of the A-pillar around the drip rail on the passenger side. I'll send you a PM with a pic.

Re: Cutting up Truck cab for
My suburban has serious rust around the antenna grommet (where it goes in to the radio through the firewall) I believe Suburban and truck are the same profile. Rust extends up to pinch weld of windshield and includes inner section of pinch. It seems there is a factory overlap of two pieces in this area. How does yours look in the area of the antenna grommet? Would you be interested in making a cut ?
Thanks for your help. |

Re: Cutting up Truck cab for
Do you have the drivers side upper seat belt mount area? Usually plugged.

Re: Cutting up Truck cab for
I think there is a square plate behind it. Someone used a 1" hole saw and cut right through the bolt hole on mine. I'd say about an inch of sheet metal left around the plate would be good. How much?
