What are your goals for the weekend on your truck?

Umm....I'm spending my weekends actually looking for a truck so I can have something to work with on the weekends

I just took off the front grill, all the marker lights and headlights, pulled the hillbilly rack off the top of the bed, gutted the dash and removed and repaired the wiring harness for the back lights. Suprised with all the splices done with tape by the previous owner the damn thing didn't burn to the ground. Next weekend, nothing. I get to go play Navy. (Reservist)

trying to figure out what to do about seats, and more cleaninf on the block, and searching for engine parts, and just getting it ready for the road

My only goal was to get the choke cap installed on my Edelbrock 1406. Status? Complete! Hey, you've gotta set small goals.

My weekend didn't go as planned either.I didn't get the motor installed but I did pick up my new daily driver...

Lets see I got the seat recovered,wiring done,half of the painting,the windows are fixed,doorpanels taken off and ready to clean,both birthday parties complete,building moved,master cylinder rebuilt for the 49,tools picked up,cows fed,bicycle customized,paneling moved,daycare yard cleaned,

I'd prolly get a lot more done if they'd quit calling my name every 10 minutes

I got 65% of the total weekend projection accomplished.

Spent all weekend putting a new roof on my barn so my trucks, cabs and parts will stay dry!!!!! It was leaking badly!

Went to see my parents who live 250 miles away in my old hometown, on the way went to look at a possible new house, turned out to have a great piece of land attached with loads of old sheds, filled with interesting bits of old cars, including an old enamel Castrol Oil sign from the 1930's that is worth hundreds of pounds lying on the floor of one. House was tiny and very rundown with no room to extend it so sadly that's a no starter. Had dinner and beer with some old friends on Saturday night, got up complete with hangover and then went to best friends first childs Christening on Sunday, drove home getting back about 7pm on Sunday.

So no truck stuff, have just received new starter bolts in the mail this morning so hopefully that may solve my starter woes. Just need a few dry minutes to fit it again.

Oh and had a PITA time on Friday evening, washed the wifes 3 month old Land Rover Freelander, went to the gas station to fill up and get some oil to top it up and it refused to start, this was at 3.45pm, had to get a couple of guys to help me push it off the pump, it took two hours sat at the gas station for the Landrover assistance breakdown service to arrive and it turned out that the fuel pump had died, fortunately he was carrying a spare and replaced it there and then (it's all very modular, just a couple of bolts and the whole filter/pump unit was out and the new one in) Damned Ford quality control.

I did complete the bed install and mowed the yard I guess that is pretty good progress considering i did not start untill about noon..
